FOUNDER & DIRECTOR
ALEXIS GREEN
Alexis (she/her) is an alumnus of Arizona State University where she received her BA in Theatre Arts with a minor in Communication. She also holds an MFA in Acting from Brown University/Trinity Rep. While at Arizona State, Alexis began her journey into community engagement and art activism working for ASU Gammage's Cultural Participation Department.
In 2020, Alexis began working for artEquity where she was the Director of Programs for five years. Serving as part of artEquity’s leadership team, she provided guidance and supervision for artEquity’s national programs centering antiracism and resources for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color in the arts and culture section and also managed consulting relationships with major theatres, museums, universities, and other cultural organizations.
ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR
MALAINA MOORE
Malaina Moore (she/her) is a Milwaukee based actress, playwright & producer. Upon graduating from Marquette University with a BA in Theatre Arts and a minor in Social Welfare and Justice, she has worked at closely in the Milwaukee area with theaters such as Next Act, Milwaukee Chamber and Black Arts MKE. Malaina believes that bringing her passion for groundbreaking art and her drive as an activist will help amplify all communities, for the sake of the greater good.
Advisory board
Teague (she/her) is the recipient of the Embark Award for Social Innovation in Entrepreneurship and the founding Artistic Director of Notch Theatre Company (www.notchtheatre.org).
Her plays and partnerships have presented at the Children’s Defense Fund Advocacy Conference, the National Performance Network's Conference, the U.S. Department of Arts and Culture's Citizen Artist Salon on Creative Strategies for Commemorative Justice, the Ubumuntu Festival in Rwanda, Arctic Fest and the Tagiugmi Music + Health Festival in Alaska, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, the Lewis Prize for Music's Institute, The Appalachia Studies Conference, Chautauqua Institute, The Eugene O'Neill Theatre Center, White Heron Theatre Company, Trinity Repertory Theater, Brown University, Live@Jacks in Denver, HB Studios, New Ohio Theater, The Tank, Hudson Guild, La Mama Studios and as an Anchor Partner at the Flea Theatre in NYC.
Teague worked on such films as Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, Tyler Perry’s For Colored Girls, Gus VanSant's Promised Land, and Tina Chism’s Peeples. Her writing has been published in Theater Artists Making Theatre With No Theater, on HowlRound, and in HowlRound's Theater in the Age of Climate Change series. ASHLEY TEAGUE
CHARLES BENJAMIN COX
Charles Benjamin Cox is a NY-Based actor who has co-starred on FX's Snowfall, recurred on Freeform's Good Trouble, and on Peacock’s Bel-Air. He also took on the lead role for the short film Free Machine, which was featured on Hulu's Your Attention Please. Most recently, he appeared in Nike's national commercial, "Witness Me," which aired during the Olympics and Super Bowl. He is excited to bring his experience to the advisory board of (X) Collective!
CAILA ROCHELLE
Caila is a community arts professional with over 15 years of experience working with non-profit, corporate and municipal arts and culture partners including academic arts administration. A DEIA advocate with a special interest in cognitive neuroscience, Caila guides others to discover and harness the transformative power of the arts for personal growth and social change. Caila holds dual degrees from Arizona State University in Design and Sustainability and is professionally trained in visual and theatre arts.
JULIA ATWOOD
Julia Atwood (she/her) is an actor based in New York. Recent theatrical credits include the world premiere of Cafe Utopia with Notch Theatre Company and Macbeth at Trinity Rep. TV: The Good Fight (Paramount Plus) and Bull (CBS). She debuted her solo show, At Home with Fleetwood Mac at Dixon Place in early 2020. Julia has narrated audiobooks for Penguin Random House Audio, Blackstone Audio, Dreamscape Media, and John Marshall Media. She earned her BA in Classics and Psychology from Wheaton College (MA) and her MFA from Brown University/Trinity Rep.

MARA HSIA-PALMA
Mara Palma (she/her) is a queer, immigrant, Filipina-American woman who believes theater is a force for positive change. As a director, Mara is most drawn to work and collaborators that build bridges between the Self and the Community. As an Associate Director: Disney Cruise Lines - Treasure. As an Assistant Director: Fresh Ink Theatre (Boston), and Annex Theatre (Seattle). B.A. Theatre Studies and Political Science, Wellesley College. She's currently based in the Los Angeles area.
NAT GOELLER
Nat Goeller (they/them) is a Milwaukee-based Stage Manager always ready to commit to the bit, and proud to be a member of the Advisory Board at (X) Collective. Other worlds Nat has worked with include Next Act Theater, Black Arts MKE, Renaissance Theaterworks, Summit Players Theater, Kohl’s Wild Theater, Waukesha Civic Theater, She/Her Productions, Sherman Park Eiga, and Metropolis Performing Arts Center. They are a firm believer in the journey being worth the destination, and growing with a community that supports all its affiliates.
RUDY GALVAN
Rudy Galvan (He/Him) is an actor and artist based in New York City, originally from Chicago. He has appeared in nearly thirty theatrical productions including several world premieres. His work has been seen at Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Asolo Repertory Theatre, The House Theatre of Chicago, Next Act Theatre, LAByrinth Theatre Company, and many more. He has also appeared in several television programs and films, including the critically acclaimed HIS THREE DAUGHTERS (Netflix), SEARCH PARTY (Max), SHAMELESS (Showtime). As a lifelong “theatre kid”, Rudy is a staunch believer in the healing power of the arts and feels so fortunate to make a life where he gets to participate in the ongoing telling of the human story. He is honored and excited to lend his talents to the advisory board of (X) Collective!
